HOLLYWOOD, Md. – On August 8, 2024, at approximately 4:08 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Mervell Dean Road in the area of Halford Lane.
Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle with two occupants injured and one trapped. Firefighters from the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department stabilized the vehicle and utilized the HURST Jaws of Life to conduct a sidewall removal to extricate the trapped occupant.
EMS evaluated two patients on the scene and transported them to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
