Authorities continue to investigate the cause of single vehicle crash in Great Mills.
Rescue crews from Lexington Park along with Bay District Fire Department responded to Indian Bridge Road just in from Route 5 on April 1, shortly after 1 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a single vehicle overturned on its roof. The silver Chevy passenger car was occupied by one male and a female.
Both patients were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for their injuries. One patient’s injuries were classified as serious, the other, non-life threatening.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
