LUSBY, Md. — Two people were injured Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash with entrapment at Rousby Hall Road and Clubhouse Drive in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates area of Lusby.
The crash was reported around 9:45 a.m. May 29, 2026. Emergency crews were dispatched for a serious motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles at the intersection.
Crews arrived to find a four-door sedan and a Ford Explorer with one person trapped and experiencing trouble breathing. A door pop was requested at the scene, and the patient was later extricated.
Both vehicles were reported to be leaking fluids, with debris in the roadway.
EMS evaluated multiple patients at the scene. A 59-year-old woman was transported to CalvertHealth Medical Center. A 70-year-old woman was transported by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center. One additional person refused care at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
