Employees of the Dunkirk Wal-Mart called police on August 24 at about 4:39 p.m. to report they were observing two men stealing electronics and other items from the store.ย
One suspect was stopped as he was wheeling a cart full of items out the front entrance of the store and suspect two was stopped on Md. Rt. 4 when he exited the parking lot.ย
Interviews with store employees revealed that the same two suspects stole from the store the previous day, in the same manner, however, employees were unable to quickly make contact with the suspects in order to stop them.ย
Cpl. J. McCarroll arrested Darrios Gregory Marcus, 64 and Larry Lee Fitch, 36, both of Upper Marlboro, and charged each with two counts of theft $1,000 to under $10,000, two counts of conspiracy to commit theft, and theft scheme $1,000 to under $10,000.
