At 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31, Dep. S. Morder of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on 28th Street in Chesapeake Beach for a theft investigation.
The victim reported that unknown suspects stole two motorcycles from his backyard between 2 p.m. the previous day and that morning.
About two hours later, one of the motorcycles, a 1984 Yamaha XT600, was found near the Chesapeake Beach Waste Treatment Plant.
The second motorcycle, a small PW50, blue and pink in color, is still missing.
Dep. Morder is continuing the investigation.
