DRAYDEN, Md. — A good Samaritan pulled two people from the water Friday morning after their small boat flipped near the mouth of the creek by Dennis Point Marina.

Crews were dispatched at about 9:45 a.m., Nov. 7, 2025, to 46555 Dennis Point Way for a report of an overturned vessel in the St. Mary’s River. The two occupants were brought ashore at the marina and declined medical treatment, according to emergency personnel.

The vessel remained upside down in the water. No injuries were reported.

Responders contacted the U.S. Coast Guard for assistance, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources was en route to handle the situation.
