On September 29 at 11:22 a.m. Dep. J. Migliaccio responded to US Nails located at 10098 Southern Maryland Boulevard in Dunkirk for the report of an assault.
Magliaccio determined that two store employees had gotten into a verbal argument which had escalated into a physical assault. The suspect of the assault, identified as Nhat Hung Le, 45 of Prince Frederick, had apparently struck the victim, a 34-year-old man from Annandale, in the face.
Le then chased the victim around the establishment with a small kitchen knife, attempting to stab him. The victim was able to fend off any stab wounds.
Le was arrested and charged with second degree assault and attempted first degree assault.
