At 3:39PM a call went out to report a two vehicle accident with one vehicle in the roadway on Three Notch Road in New Market. Two people have signed medical refusals. One patient has been transported to St. Mary’s Hospital via ambulance after being assessed by medics for chest pain complaints.

UPDATE:
At 3:40 P.M. on Thursday, January 12, 2011, rescue crews were dispatched to the 29000 block of Three Notch Road for the personal injury accident just south of the New Market intersection in the north bound lanes with vehicles still in the road. Initial units arrived on scene to confirm all previous information with a rear end style collision and one patient still in her car. Crews went to work assessing all involved personnel and found one patient to be transported. Crews quickly went to work caring for the single patient and removing her from her vehicle. The single patient was transported priority 3 to the local emergency department and two others signed refusal of care forms. The last fire/EMS unit cleared the scene at 4:00 P.M.
