Hollywood, MD – Two motorists were injured as a result of a four-vehicle collision in the Hollywood area Monday morning, Oct. 22, St. Mary’s County authorities reported. According to the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department, the crash at Three Notch Road and Airport View Drive occurred at approximately 10:20 a.m.
“Crews went to work stabilizing the vehicles and utilizing the HURST Jaws of Life to complete the door and roof removal to free the trapped occupants,” fire department officials reported. The injured were subsequently transported to hospitals.
A police report on the collision is pending.
