Two routine maintenance operations will take place on the Thomas Johnson Bridge in the next few days.
Wednesday, September 04, 2013 crews will repair aerial navigation lights on the bridge. Work hours are 10 p.m. through 2 a.m. Expect a single lane flagging operation across the bridge during these hours.
Sunday, September 8, 2013, State Highway Administration will perform routine cleaning of the bridge scuppers. (Scuppers are the cutouts at the base of sidewalls that provide drainage from the bridge during rain/snow.) Work hours will be 6 a.m. through 2 p.m. and a single lane closure with flagging will be in place.
