ANNAPOLIS, MD –ย According to the Annapolis Police Department, a Calvert County woman wanted on theft and assault charges has been arrested.
Documents on file with District Court indicate Sarah Wynne Hassay, 24 of St. Leonard, was arrested Wednesday, March 18. Hassay was charged with theft less than $1,000 and second-degree assault. The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred Saturday, March 7 at Kohl’s in Annapolis.ย
According to Ofc. Sauriol-Gibris, who investigated the incident, Hassay allegedly stole electronics from the store and, when confronted, punched an employee.
Hassay is being held in lieu of $7,500 bond.
