A 1999 Monte Carlo driven by Kevin Fortney caught on fire while racing. The fire was quickly put out. Fortney was flown out for burn injuries.
Fortney had no serious injuries. He was flown out for precautionary measures. His car did not fair so well.
Still no word on how the fire started.
