Update, 7:15 p.m. 6/6 —  

Fire units from Bay District, Hollywood and EMS units from Hollywood and Lexington Park were dispatched for a reported car accident on

St. Andrews Church Road

in front of St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works building (DPW) Thursday afternoon June 6th.

First arriving fire units found two vehicles involved with one at the entrance to the St. Andrews Landfill and the other in front of the DPW building with debris in the roadway between the two.

The roadway was closed from the landfill entrance for westbound traffic and

Wildwood Blvd

for eastbound traffic.

Two more EMS units were requested at 4:33 p.m. which brought a Leonardtown and another Lexington Park ambulance.

One patient was flown to the Prince George’s Trauma Center by a U.S. Park Police Eagle helicopter from St. Mary’s airport and three patients were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.
