A fire that destroyed a house in Lusby Friday morning, Nov. 15 remains under investigation, state officials reported.
According to the Maryland Fire Marshal’s Office, there were no injuries as a result of the blaze, which caused $270,000 damage. Investigators said no one was home at the time of the fire, which was discovered by a neighbor.
Twenty firefighters from Solomons, St. Leonard, Prince Frederick and Hollywood were dispatched to the 1:34 a.m., one-alarm blaze and brought the flames under control in 15 minutes.
The fire is being investigated by Dfm. Don Brenneman and Dfm. John Nelson.
