Update from Ron Bailey:
Around 1 p.m. Solomons Fire Dept and Rescue Squad, SMECO, Prince Frederick medics, and the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident on Clubhouse and Rio Grande.
According to sources the operator of the vehicle attempted to avoid a deer in the road and resulted in running into a pole.
No one was transported from this accident.
