Bushwood, MD – State authorities reported a silver Dodge sport utility vehicle (SUV) sustained $15,000 as a result of a fire in St. Mary’s County. The blaze was discovered Saturday evening, March 12 outside a home on Woodbush Drive and Upland Drive in Bushwood.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office cited the preliminary cause as “incendiary.”
Six volunteer firefighters from Seventh District responded to the blaze around 9:44 p.m. and brought the blaze under control in 10 minutes. No injuries were reported.
“This incident is currently under investigation,” the fire marshal’s office reported. Investigators do not know the identity of the SUV’s owner.
