WALDORF, Md. โ A single-vehicle rollover crash early this morning left a 21-year-old woman injured near the intersection of Berry Road and Ashford Drive in Waldorf. Emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 6:32 AM after receiving reports of a vehicle overturned on its roof, partially in the woods.
According to emergency dispatch notes, the female victim suffered a busted lip, a nose injury, and was reported to be clutching her right knee. First responders from multiple units, including PA127 and SQ3, arrived on the scene to assess and provide aid. She was transported to Charles Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
State Highway Administration officials were also notified to manage the affected area and ensure safety.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution and stay alert, especially during early morning hours when visibility can be reduced.
