HUNTINGTOWN – 04/10/2011
On Sunday, April 10, 2011, at approximately 5:00 pm, the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to an auto accident at Route 4 South just North of Bowie Shop Road for a vehicle that struck telephone pole.
One person was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital.
Route 4 South and North needed to be shut down because of low wires across the road for safety reasons.
State Police and Sherriff’s Deputies were handling traffic control.
