WALDORF, Md. — First Watch, a nationally recognized breakfast, brunch, and lunch chain, has opened a new location in Waldorf. To celebrate the grand opening, guests who dine in from March 24 to March 28 will receive free unlimited Project Sunrise coffee with the purchase of a meal.
The restaurant, located at 3345 Crain Highway Waldorf South, officially opened Monday and features a 5,000-square-foot space with seating for more than 160 guests. It includes an indoor bar that serves house-made juices.
Known for its made-to-order meals prepared without heat lamps, microwaves or deep fryers, First Watch offers a menu of both classic and creative daytime dishes. In addition to staples like omelets and The Traditional breakfast, the menu includes items such as Avocado Toast, Farmhouse Hash, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the chain’s signature Million Dollar Bacon. Sandwiches and salads — including the Superfood Kale Salad — are also available.
The Waldorf location features First Watch’s signature juice bar, where staff juice fresh fruits and vegetables each morning. The restaurant also serves Project Sunrise coffee, sourced from women-led coffee farms in South America.
First Watch operates on a single-shift schedule, opening daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Waldorf location employs approximately 30 people and follows the brand’s “No Night Shifts Ever” model to support employee work-life balance. Applications are being accepted at careers.firstwatch.com.
The company rotates its menu five times a year to align with seasonal ingredients, with the Waldorf location’s first seasonal menu launching in summer 2025.
Founded as a daytime dining concept, First Watch has received national acclaim, including being named the No. 1 Most Loved Workplace® in America by Newsweek in 2024 and ranking as Yelp’s top restaurant brand in 2023. It operates more than 570 restaurants across 30 states.
