UPDATE 12:19 pm- After Responders spoke with the three victims at the Hospital, the description of the missing boater has been updated:

Male, 40’s, gray hair wearing a green sweatshirt and overalls. Units are still searching and have begun moving into shallow creeks in the area. He was last seen with a life ring before the boaters got separated by distance.

One diver has already been under once and did not find anything.


UPDATE 11:05 am- Crews have been brought in to expand the search to the shoreline.


UPDATE 10:56 am- Units on the scene are reporting three patients are en route to the local hospital. One male, in his 40’s wearing a maroon shirt.; he was reported to have a life ring is still unaccounted for.


UPDATE 10:42 am- Multiple units are on scene; still looking for a fourth person. Charles County, St. Mary’s County, and a Navy Vessel are assisting in the search Calvert Dive team has been alerted. Also, at least one helicopter is in the area assisting the search.

Known Units on Scene- Company 3( Bay District); 7th District Rescue, Chief 12        (Calvert), A naval vessel, a Department of Natural Resources(DNR) vessel, Charles County, St. Mary’s County Brush 3, and at least one search helicopter. Dive teams are there, but unknown which ones. 


Dameron, MD 10:07 am- Reports of a water rescue underway in Dameron, MD in the area of  50675 Holly Point Road. Four persons were reported on board with two making it to shore, and one being picked up by Coast Gaurd. Reports of one person still missing in the water. This is a 30 foot capsized vessel. 

Use caution in the area as emergency crews respond.
