On March 5, 2011 Deputy Teaque responded to a hotel in Lexington Park for a report of a theft.
Investigation revealed the victim invited Shelia Christine Vernon, 42 of no fixed address to his room. The victim reported Vernon left his room a short time later and he discovered his wallet containing currency and miscellaneous items missing.
Deputies located Vernon and the wallet.
Vernon was arrested and charged with theft over $100.00.
