Woman Arrested for Trying to Poison Her Husband

St. Mary’s Patrol Officers received a complaint that Renee Bossee, 45 of Mechanicsville, was attempting to kill her former husband, Gary Bossee.

Although the couple had divorced, they continued to live together. Beginning the last week of May 2006, Renee Bossee began placing different pills into the victim’s drinks. The pills were both over the counter and prescribed.

The suspect was attempting to cause illness that would lead to the victim’s death.

Recovered from the home was a bottle of stolen prescription medication and an over the counter banned substance.

Renee Bossee was arrested and charged with one count of Reckless Endangerment and one count of Second Degree Assault. Additional charges are pending a State’s Attorney’s Office and Grand Jury review.
