Lusby, MD – On March 6, 2017, Deputy G. Gott observed a vehicle traveling slowly and come to a complete stop in the middle of the road, blocking passage. ย He conducted a traffic stop at Barreda Boulevard/Dogwood Drive, making contact with the driver, Chelsea Hoofnagle, 30, of Lusby. ย 

While speaking with Hoofnagle he observed a prescription bag on the passenger side seat containing buprenorphine packets, displaying two different serial numbers.ย  Hoofnagle was placed under arrest for possession of Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic (Suboxone) and CDS Possession of Dangerous Nonnarcotic drugs (Alprazolam and Adderall).ย  She was transported to the Detention Center and was also issued a warning for the traffic violation.
