
BENNSVILLE, Md. — Two people were taken to trauma centers Monday night after a serious two-vehicle rollover crash in Bennsville, including a 30-year-old woman who was ejected from the vehicle.
The crash was reported around 9:35 p.m. on May 25, 2026, in the area of Billingsley Road and Piney Church Road.
Emergency crews were told the woman was ejected after the vehicle rolled multiple times. Dispatch information indicated she was not wearing a seatbelt and was found face down by friends with periodic loss of consciousness.
The woman was reportedly extremely agitated and complained of pain to the left side of her chest. She was flown by Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 2 to MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
A 50-year-old man involved in the crash reportedly walked away from the scene before emergency crews made contact with him. He was located almost an hour later in the area of Bensville Road and Bancroft Drive.
The man was transported by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
