
TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred in Temple Hills Saturday night. Investigators are working to identify the victim, an adult female, in order to notify her family.
On November 16, 2024, at approximately 8:50 pm, patrol officers responded to the 4400 block of Saint Barnabas Road for the report of a collision involving a pedestrian. Officers located the victim in the roadway suffering from trauma. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed the involved driver was traveling northbound on Saint Barnabas Road near Leisure Drive when they struck the victim in the roadway. The driver did not remain on the scene.
