The Young Professionals Initiative of St. Mary’s County will hold its next General Body Meeting on Thursday, January 13 at 6 p.m. The meeting will include reports from the President, Treasurer, Programs and Membership Chairs, followed by the Financial Planning 101 session.
The Financial Planning 101 session will provide an overview of how young professionals can plan for their current and future finances. Breakout sessions will be offered on specific areas of interest regarding financial planning including saving and investing, taxes, legal, and risk planning. Each session will consist of a roundtable question and answer session in small groups.
The meeting will be held at the Lexington Park Library, which is located at 21677 FDR Boulevard in Lexington Park.
The Young Professionals Initiative of St. Mary’s County (YPI-SMC) is a group dedicated to attracting and retaining young professionals in Southern Maryland. YPI-SMC hosts social and community events in the interest of young professionals.
