Oct. 7, 2015 – La Plata, MD La Plata Business Association (LPBA) has partnered with the Town of La Plata to announce that vendors are sought for the Town of La Plata Farmer’s Market during the 2nd annual Shop La Plata celebration on Small Business Saturday®, Nov. 28, 2015 in La Plata, Maryland.
Local growers, homemade crafters, artists and artisans, garden clubs and bakers are welcome to participate in the Farmer’s Market in accordance with the rules described in the Farmer’s Market Vendor Application.
Small Business Saturday® is held the first Saturday after Thanksgiving and was originally created by American Express in 2010 to help small business kick off the busy holiday shopping season.
This year, participants can enter to win the $1,000 Ultimate Holiday Shopping Spree Giveaway at Shop La Plata celebration on Small Business Saturday. See participating merchants for official rules on Nov. 28, 2015. No purchase is necessary to participate in the passport event.
To register as a vendor, please complete a Farmer’s Market Vendor Application Form, available online at the Town of La Plata web site: www.townoflaplata.org. One-day Farmer’s Market Vendor fees are $14.50 and payable at La Plata Town Hall, 305 Queen Anne Street, La Plata, MD 20646.
