ADELPHI, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Monday morning in the Adelphi area. The deceased passenger is 31-year-old Berta Marroquin Colindres of Hyattsville.
On March 10, 2025, at approximately 5:50 am, officers responded to the area of Adelphi Road and Riggs Road for a collision involving two vehicles. The victim was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced deceased several hours later. The two involved drivers suffered what appear to be minor injuries.
The preliminary investigation revealed the two vehicles collided in the intersection of Adelphi Road and Riggs Road. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
