CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – Emergency crews responded to a significant vehicle accident at the intersection of Trinity Church Road and Ryceville Road on the evening of March 9, 2025.
According to dispatch, authorities received a call at approximately 6:00 p.m. regarding a crash involving an adult female who was unconscious and experiencing labored breathing. First responders arrived at the scene and determined that a medical helicopter was necessary due to the severity of her injuries.
MedStar Trauma Center was identified as the receiving facility, and Maryland State Police Aviation was called in to airlift the patient. Emergency medical personnel stabilized the woman on-site before she was transported to the landing zone at Halloran Lane. She was then flown to MedStar for further evaluation and treatment.
