La Plata, MD – On Dec. 11 and 12, the Charles County Fairgrounds held their Third annual Kris Kringle Christmas Market and Holiday Trail experience to help benefit The Southern Maryland Food Bank. Vendors came to sell Christmas goods and families attended to enjoy some Christmas spirit.
Attendees wrote letters to Santa, saw beautiful holiday-themed crafts and enjoyed the food provided by local vendors. Candy canes were given out and live music was provided to keep the excitement in the air. Boy Scouts Troop 1814 sold trees and creative wreaths were customized to the customers’ delight.
Admission was $1 or one non-perishable good to see a winter wonderland.
