White Plains, MD –
Quality Printers and SMC3 (Southern MD Creative Cultural Center) are proud to present the work of Eric Giles to the public. This body of work explores what is possible to create in the small gaps of time found between the events of his over scheduled life and what tales lurk in the spaces we only experience from the corners of our eyes.

Growing up in the wilds of northern Delaware Giles underwent most of the trials and tribulations associated with a stable family unit in suburbia. Yet, despite the pull of ennui and lethargy inherent to this den of middle-class American luxury he found himself drawn to making art and training cats. In the end the trainees had become the trainers, but Giles managed to develop some skill in manipulating materials to manifest his imaginings. He has been a practicing artist for twenty-five years and works in a wide variety of mediums on projects ranging from graphic novels and illustration to installation and gallery shows. Giles currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member at the College of Southern Maryland.

Quality Printers|QP2Creative continues to provide the communities of Southern Maryland creative solutions to their business, printing, marketing and design needs. On occasion, we transform the front of our shop into the Southern MD Creative Cultural Center; a part of our ongoing outreach to the community that hosts various arts and entertainment events for the community’s enrichment.

Light refreshments will be served.
