Indian Head, MD – A fire that occurred early Friday morning, July 21 in Charles County was intentionally set, state investigators reported. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshalโ€™s Office, the blaze happened inside a one-story, single-family home on South Poplar Lane in Indian Head. The fire was discovered and reported by an occupant of the house shortly after 1 a.m. No firefighters were dispatched. No injuries were reported and damage is estimated at $2,000.

Investigators determined that an unknown suspect or suspects ignited multiple points within the home.
