LAUREL, Md. — Seven people were arrested after Anne Arundel County Police recovered multiple firearms, fentanyl, and a large quantity of drugs during a search warrant in Laurel.
On April 29, 2026, detectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Western District executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Jill Lane, where authorities uncovered what investigators described as a drug distribution operation.
Among the items seized were five handguns, including a stolen Glock 30 and a Polymer 80-style ghost gun with no serial number. Detectives also recovered approximately 1,903 grams of suspected cannabis, 6.86 grams of suspected fentanyl, suspected oxycodone pills, promethazine, and multiple digital scales with suspected drug residue.
Investigators said $3,420 in cash was also seized.
Photos released by police show numerous individually packaged bags of suspected cannabis, loaded magazines, loose ammunition, and bundled cash laid out alongside the firearms, further indicating distribution activity.
Those arrested include Kaiyer Antonyo Lewis Few, 22; Joshua Isaiah Cooper, 25; Isaiah Cecil Thornton, 26; Jaiden Nana Kofi Offei Omenako, 20; Najon Daniel Thompson, 24; Stanley Emanuel Kamara, 21; and Shaun Maurice Moorer Jr., 24, all of Laurel.
Few faces the most serious charges, including firearm possession in connection with a drug trafficking crime, possession of a stolen firearm, and illegal possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Several others are also charged with firearm-related offenses and drug violations, including possession with intent to distribute cannabis and possession of controlled dangerous substances.
Court records show that several defendants, including Few, Cooper, Omenako, and Moorer, are being held without bond, while others were released on recognizance or unsecured personal bonds.
A hearing is set for June 3, 2026, in Annapolis District Court.
