On Dec. 21, at 8:54 a.m., Jeffrey Leland Burtis, 20 of Lexington Park, was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding true bill indictment warrant issued by the Circuit Court on Dec. 18. The original charge was a weapons violation.
Burtis was taken into custody at his residence in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
