On February 17 at 5:17 p.m., a sheriff’s officer initiated a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf after observing a traffic violation. A check of the vehicle registration revealed the car had been reported stolen two days earlier.
The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and fled to the dead end of Bluebird Court where he bailed out of the car. The officer pursued the suspect on foot and apprehended him after a brief struggle.
The driver, Domineke Isaiah Marshall, 20 of Waldorf, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and multiple traffic violations.
