A Taste of New Orleans Lands In Waldorf With Orleans Po’Boys Opening

WALDORF, Md. — A new Cajun-Creole restaurant has opened in Waldorf, offering a taste of New Orleans-style comfort food — and while there’s no gator on the menu, there’s still plenty to get excited about.

Orleans Po’Boys is now open at 11481 Berry Road in the Berry Patch Shopping Center, introducing a menu built around classic po’ boy sandwiches and Southern-style platters.

The soft opening menu features shrimp, oyster, catfish and chicken po’ boys served on fresh baguettes, along with platters, shrimp and grits and Louisiana-style bowls with red beans and rice. The po’ boys are generously sized, making them a filling option for most diners.

Customers can also find wings, gumbo, chili, and a lineup of sides like Cajun fries, dirty rice, and Cajun macaroni salad, giving plenty of options for a quick bite or a full meal.

Most menu items fall between about $14 and $20, with smaller sides and larger shareable options also available.

The restaurant is currently in its soft opening phase, with dine-in, takeout and online ordering available. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and closed on Sundays.

As Waldorf continues to grow, Orleans Po’Boys adds another fresh flavor to the local dining scene — bringing a little taste of New Orleans closer to home.

Check out the menu online, place an order ahead and stop in to see what’s cooking at Waldorf’s newest Cajun spot.
