In a curious turn of events there were no personal injury accidents of any kind in St. Maryโ€™s County on Christmas day. However, there were accidents immediately before and after that saw multiple injuries and transports to St. Maryโ€™s Hospital.

On Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 at approximately 8:30 p.m., on Three Notch Road in California near Chancellors Run Road there was a multiple car fender-bender that saw at least one accident victim being transported to the hospital.

Then after a very quiet Christmas Day, at 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 26, an Acura and a Mountaineer collided at 21730 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. The Mountaineer ended up turned over and the Acura crumpled. Two accident victims were taken to St. Maryโ€™s Hospital by ambulance. A third victim signed a refusal and was not treated.

More information on both accidents as it is made available by authorities.
