LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Gymnasts from St. Mary’s Gymnastics Academy delivered a strong showing this weekend at the 2025 Christmas on the Chesapeake Maryland Gymnastics Invitational in Baltimore, earning top finishes and statewide qualifications.
Sixteen athletes from the academy’s USA Gymnastics program, competing across Level 6 through Xcel Platinum divisions, represented St. Mary’s County at the event. Three competitors captured second-place all-around finishes in their respective divisions — Level 6, Gold, and Platinum.
Every gymnast who competed secured qualification for the Maryland state championships, scheduled for the spring.
The invitational marked a successful close to the season for the academy, highlighting the athletes’ preparation and consistency across multiple competitive levels. Coaches and families were also recognized for their support throughout the meet.
