Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, Maryland, held its 15th Annual Halloween event on a beautiful Autumn afternoon, Saturday, October 25. There were nearly 5000 kids and parents who all enjoyed the annual event. The great weather along with more than 80 company booths handing out candy and 16 sponsors of the event made a perfect SPOOKtacular event. The admission revenue will go to the Holiday Food Basket Program, Annmarie Program Fund and a St. Mary’s County Charity to be named by the Ann’s Circle Board of Directors. The corporate sponsors were; Schneider Orthodontics, Dominion Cove Point LNG, Roy Rogers, Ledo Pizza, SMECO, PNC Bank, Walter and Jane Grove, Solomons Daycare Center, Personalized Therapy LLC, Jan Kleponis at O’Brien Realty, Lexington Park Dentistry, Sheriff Mike Evans, The McNelis Group, King of Tees, The Harbours at Solomons Island, and MDC Realty.
Halloween Best Booth Winners
There were three “Pumpkin Awards” presented during the wooded path event:
· The Gold Pumpkin Award went to the Dr. Who themed booth of the Southern Maryland Secular Humanists
· The Silver Pumpkin Award went to Alice in Wonderland themed booth of BAHR Insurance Agency
· The Bronze Pumpkin was awarded to Personalized Therapy LLC for their Pirate theme
