Jerome Hicks, 38, of Leonardtown โ€“ย Marijuana But No License

At 1:11 am on Friday, March 23, TFC Moore initiated a traffic stop on a blue Dodge Charger for exceeding the posted speed limit.ย  Contact was made with the driver, Jerome Anthony Hicks, 38, of Leonardtown.ย  A check of MVA revealed his driving privileges are revoked in Maryland.ย  Mr. Hicks was placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest revealed suspected cocaine and a CDS smoking device.ย  Mr. Hicks was charged with possession of cocaine, CDS paraphernalia and traffic charges.ย  Mr. Hicks was transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center pending a bond review.ย 

Ramsey Rearden, 26, of West Virginia โ€“ Drunk Driving With Pot

At approximately 12:05 a.m. on March 26, 2007, TFC R. Lemerise observed a white GMC pickup truck with West Virginia registration 8JX501 traveling northbound U.S. Route 301, north of Acton Lane in lane #3.ย  The vehicle failed to drive within a single lane, three separate times.ย  TFC Lemerise initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle.ย  TFC Lemerise made contact with the operator, Ramsey Reardon, 26 years, of Arthur, West Virginia, who was identified by his West Virginia driverโ€™s license.ย  TFC Lemerise detected a strong odor of alcohol on Reardonโ€™s breath.ย  Reardon failed field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI.ย  A search incident to arrest revealed a small wooden box containing marijuana.ย  Reardon was transported to the barrack for DUI processing and he was subsequently transported to the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.ย  Reardon was charged with the following:ย  DUI, did possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia, to wit: one wooden box, used to store/contain a controlled dangerous substance of Schedule 1 to wit: marijuana, and did possess a controlled dangerous substance of Schedule I, to wit: marijuana.

Jerome Branes, 19, and Anthony Queen, 41, of Lexington Park โ€“ Both Carrying Marijuana

On Friday, March 23 at 7:43 pm, TFC Quade initiated a traffic stop on a white Nissan Sentra on Rt. 246 in Lexington Park for an equipment violation.ย  Contact was made with the driver, Jerome Garcia Barnes, Jr., 19, of Lexington Park.ย  During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Barnes was found to be in possession of cigar containing marijuana on his person.ย  The passenger, Anthony George Queen, 41, of Lexington Park was also found to be in possession of cocaine.ย  Both subjects were placed under arrest for possession of CDS and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center pending a bond review.

Joseph Decesaris, 27, of Mechanicsville โ€“ Speeding With Cocaine and Pot

On Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 5:56 pm, Tpr. McCartney initiated a traffic stop on a green Jeep Cherokee on All Faith Church Road in Mechanicsville for exceeding the posted speed limit.ย  Contact was made with the driver, Joseph Michael Decesaris, 27, of Mechanicsville.ย  During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Decesaris was found to be in possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.ย  Mr. Decesaris was charged with possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia and transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center pending a bond review.ย
