Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Concealed Weapon: On July 18 at 07:46 a.m., Trooper West responded to the Shell Gas Station on West Dares Beach Road to check on the welfare of a person passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle while it was parked at the gas pumps. Cary J. Middledorf, 52 of Lothian, was arrested for DUI. Oxycontin pills and several illegal knives were found inside the vehicle. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
