On Aug. 4, at approximately 12:15 a.m., deputies responded to Indian Way in Lexington Park, for a report of an assault.
Investigation revealed the defendant, Stephanie Nicole Keeney 28, Lexington Park, stabbed the victim in the foot after a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation. The victim was transported to St. Mary’s hospital where he was admitted for his injuries. Keeney was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of second-degree assault.
