Babe Ruth Baseball team ‘St Mary’s Blue Crabs’ ages 13/14, start the year of at 3-0 after beating the Calvert Blue tuesday night at the Lettie Dent ball field. After starting the year of 2-0 the Crabs called on Noah Jarboe to bring home the 3rd win. Noah had a impressive night giving up only 1 run on 3 hits. He managed to strike out 10 batters in a 10 run rule shortened game.
On the offensive side Corey Barnes went 2-2 with a single, a double and a stolen base. Jarboe also swung a good bat going 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 stolen bases. The lead off batter Tyler Burroughs went 3-3 with 2 singles, a walk and 5 stolen bases. The Blue Crabs will try and make it 4-0 on May 26 against the Calvert Gray.
