On May 18, 2011 deputies responded to a local convenience store in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Erica Lucille Turner, 22 of Austin, Texas was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim. The dispute escalated into a physical confrontation. During the physical confrontation Turner cut the victim’s back with a knife. Turner was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault.
