WALDORF, Md. — Bahama Buck’s is launching its Waldorf location with a soft opening VIP event Friday, April 17, 2026, inviting residents to stop by for free treats and a first look at the new shop ahead of its official opening.
The event begins at 5 p.m. at 3800 Crain Highway, Unit 1, where guests can receive one complimentary menu item by accessing a VIP pass through the Bahama Buck’s mobile app. Attendees are encouraged to download the app, enable notifications and select the Waldorf location to receive their pass prior to arrival.
Organized as a way to introduce the brand to the community, the three-hour event will feature free shaved ice along with a full lineup of family-friendly fun, including a bounce house for kids, face painting, balloon artists and a live DJ keeping the energy up throughout the evening, as the owner and team welcome guests and celebrate bringing the new location to Waldorf.
Bahama Buck’s is known for its signature shaved ice, branded as “Sno,” which offers a light, fluffy texture rather than the traditional crunchy snow cone. The menu includes more than 100 flavor combinations, along with additional offerings such as island smoothies, Red Bull infusions, Bahama sodas and Buck’s Bowls, which feature fruit-forward options like açaí and yogurt bowls topped with granola, coconut flakes and fresh fruit.
The new location, situated along U.S. Route 301 near Cracker Barrel, is expected to become a popular gathering spot for residents looking for a refreshing treat and a casual place to meet up.
Friday’s soft opening runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and is open to the public with a VIP pass. Community members can follow the Bahama Buck’s Waldorf Facebook event page for updates and additional details.
The business is expected to open for regular hours beginning Saturday, April 18, 2026. Regular hours are listed as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. See their menu at bahamabucks.com/menu/
