On Oct. 30, at 2:41 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a foot path near the 100 block of St. Patrick’s Drive in Waldorf for the report of a citizen robbery.
Investigation revealed the victim was riding his bicycle when three suspects knocked him to the ground, assaulted him and stole his bike and cell phone. The suspects fled and the victim called police.
Officers canvassed the area and located two subjects matching the description of the suspects. The victim made a positive identification and the suspects, Michael Turner, 20, and James Johnson, 26, both of Newburg, were arrested and charged with robbery.
The victim’s bicycle was recovered a short distance away. Officer M. Rodriguez made the arrests.
