Bryans Road, Md. – On February 21, 2020, at 4:44 p.m.Volunteers from Bryans Road and 7 surrounding departments answered the call for a report of the “neighbors house on fire” at 6311 Hard Bargain Circle.
Within minutes firefighters arrived reporting smoke showing, Chief 11 requesting “working fire” upgrade. Crews made a aggressive interior attack through the basement and back up lines through the front door.
Command reporting “heavy fire” now on “quadrant D” letting the crews know on the inside the change in conditions.
Chief 8B (Alexander) had the basement group and Chief 7 (Rogers) had Division 1.
Fire was extinguished within 15 minutes from arrival, Command requesting Fire Marshal and SMECO.
First arriving units were sent to REHAB at A119 and PA209.
Homeowners were checked out on the scene for “smoke inhalation” no transport or other injuries reported.
Fire Marshal’s Office on scene to conduct an investigation.
