On September 12, Deputies responded to a residence on Briar Patch Lane in Lexington Park, for a report of a burglary in progress.ย
Upon arrival Deputies found David Norman Bell, 30 of Solomons,ย holding Tyler Richard Tennille, 29 of Calient, Nevada down on the ground outside of the victimโs residence.ย Deputies instructed Bell to get up off of Tennille, as they were on the scene and attempting to investigate the circumstance.ย The deputies told Bell they could control Tennille while they were conducting their investigation.ย Bell refused and continued to hold Tennille down.ย Deputies again explained to Bell they would control Tennille, and he (Bell) needed to get up so they could speak to them to determine what was going on.ย Bell again refused, had to be physically removed from Tennille.ย Once removed Bell continued to try to advance onto Tennille and refused to obey the deputy’s request to stand back.ย Bell told the Deputies โI donโt have to listen to you.โย
Bell was arrested for obstruction of justice and hindering an investigation.ย
Further investigation revealed Tennille was extremely intoxicated and forced his way into the victimโs residence believing it was his residence.ย Once escorted from the residence, Tennille continued to attempt to reenter the victimโs residence by banging his shoulder against and kicking the door.ย
Tennille was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary.ย ย ย ย ย
