Dorsey Management Company, a local employer of 250 people in the MD/DC/VA markets, is pleased to announce that the California and Edgewood Maryland Checkers Restaurants have been awarded IMPACT status by corporate Checkers.
These restaurants are owned and operated by Phil Dorsey, a Checkers licensee since 1990. Only restaurants operating at maximum efficiencies attain this status. Of the 36 Checkers restaurants in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia markets, the California and Edgewood Checkers were the FIRST to achieve IMPACT status.
These two operations are now regarded as certified training stores. All new management candidates for the Dorsey Management Company group of Checkers restaurants will be trained at these locations.
Both Margaret Chase (General Manager) and Sandy Reisinger (Assistant Manager) are local residents who live in Lusby and Mechanicsville respectively. Phil Dorsey would like to congratulate Margaret, Sandy and the hourly management and crew teams on this important achievement. Margaret and her team have worked diligently to present the best possible product and experience for our customer, while providing the management candidates a solid foundation to continue to grow our operation.
