On January 14 at 11:34 a.m., officers responded to the area of Route 5 near Forest Park for the report of a reckless driver.
Officers observed the car and initiated a traffic stop but the driver refused to stop and continued north on Route 5. The driver eventually stopped in the parking lot of a gas station near Route 205. Officers approached the car and found the driver, Sean Michael Brown, 40, of Chaptico, to be intoxicated.
Brown was arrested and charged with DUI and other traffic violations.
